Senior Sales Manager - APAC (13 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Commencing in February 2025, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who is passionate about TV content to join the Global Partnerships team based in Sydney on a 13 month fixed term contract.
Global Partnerships is the content sales and distribution arm of ITV Studios and operates throughout the APAC region. The Senior Sales Manager is an integral part of the sales and distribution team and provides an opportunity to gain invaluable experience at one of the world's largest and fastest growing international independent media companies.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Forecast and achieve Sales targets for APAC region;
- Work with manager and team to deliver agreed sales strategy region across all platforms;
- Maintain existing relationships with clients, agents and output partners and build new relationships in the region;
- Plan and attend overseas sales trips to meet clients and attend international markets;
- Drive growth of sales revenue through proactive sales interaction with new and existing client base;
- Provide weekly reports to EVP Asia Pacific while tracking progress in regular tracking meetings;
- Formulate strategic sales plans and priorities through research and analysis of market/country data to enhance the market share of ITV products in territory;
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional groups across London Headquarters;
- Strategically negotiate deal terms and conditions which maximise return and profitability;
- Ensure that all accounts are handled in an appropriate, effective and efficient way;.
- Manage the annual budget and forecasting in assigned territories; and
- Identify new and renegotiate existing output deals.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in the television/media industry;
- Competent in all MS Office applications, particularly Word, Powerpoint and Excel;
- Experience working with Google based operating systems preferred i.e. Gmail, Google Docs and Google Drive;
- Must be able to work under time constraints and high pressure when required;
- Articulate with strong communication skills;
- Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to use own initiative and work independently;
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
